Big step towards a RECODE collective – by Thomas Ermacora

Exciting news! In the spirit of an old project started in Paris almost 10 years ago, I have finally found a way to achieve my ambition to have offices that reflect Clear Village’s regeneration design ethos and mix our creative endeavours with like minds in a space that is ours to give life to, – in other words, offices that can serve as a thematic hub revolving around activities ranging from artistic to strategic for the purpose of revitalising places and finding out what is meaningful and what drives people to care for them.

To end the suspense, at the end of 2012 we are moving to premises on the border of Hackney and Tower Hamlets on Regents Canal. Victoria Wharf (as it will be called to reconnect with its past and a somewhat socially minded Regent!) will open its doors to co-creative workshops in 2013. This unusual space will house what I’ve now called the RECODE collective: a pool of uniquely talented individuals that are warm to the idea of any kind of collaboration that makes a difference.
