Clear Village is a partner in CIRCuIT – Circular Construction in Regenerative Cities – a collaborative project involving 29 ambitious partners across the entire built environment chain in Copenhagen, Hamburg, Helsinki Region and Greater London. Funded by the European Commission’s Horizon 2020 programme, the project will support the creation of regenerative cities by implementing sustainable and circular construction practices. Clear Village is hosting 9 hackathons on the themes:
- Urban mining and reverse cycles (Dismantling buildings to re-use and recycling of materials)
- Extending building life through transformation and refurbishment
- Designing for disassembly and flexible construction
