The Walled Garden featured in the Ecologist


Freelance journalist, researcher and editor Laura Sevier has written an insightful article in The Ecologist about The Walled Kitchen Garden.

The open-aired Lab took place in Bedford’s Park, near Romford (Essex, UK), and aimed to restore a neglected, walled kitchen garden for the community’s Food Growing. Clear Village provided staged actions and design advice that revitalised the garden and community.

Here is our favorite quote from the article from Thomas, talking about the participants in the project: “They wanted to continue to toil, to clear, build, sing and talk even after we were finished for the day. The Garden Angels couldn’t get enough!” he says.
