PLASTIC EXTRUSION!

The very generous Tom Fox arranged the donation of a plastic extruder – an ancient retro precursor to the 3D printer! The whole kit is amazing, complete with plastic moulds and barrels of plastic beads to melt down (like old-fashioned PLA!). Next steps are to figure out how it works, and how this relates to the Precious Plastic project…

ECO FRIENDLINESS!

We had a ZEN ‘eco audit’ done this week – in our efforts to make Machines Room greener, we found out just where Machines Room needs to tighten up its environmental friendliness, and what we’re already doing well. We also hope to get visits from a bike doctor out of it! Thanks Tower Hamlets!
